We came across this hotel
by accident, we never planned to visit the highlands until
we met a couple in Edinburgh who hd just left the Culloden
House and said how magical it was. As we had a couple of days
to spare we decided to visit this magical property and are
so glad we did, it made our vacation. Accommodations, cuisine,
and service surpassed everything we had encountered in bonnie
Scotland, attention to us as guests was the finest I have
ever had, the owner even gave me a taste of one of his special
whiskeys reserved for celebrities and special people. Our
entree was amazing, our dessert even more amazing and we had
a cute table for two next to the fireplace which added to
the dining experience. Culloden delivers service that should
be recognised internationally. Flawless, friendly and fulfilling.

It's rare to find a hotel and staff who simply make the
highest standards of excellence appear so easy. A stay at
Culloden is something everyone should experience at least
once. When was the last time you felt sad upon leaving a
hotel? That was our experience. For example, After a long
journey I found myself awake at 5am. I trooped down to the
lovely lounge to read until my wife arose. The houseman
that opened the hotel did nothing less than put on and serve
me coffee--twice-- as I waited. Above and beyond. Their
like will not be see again soon. Do yourself a favour and
make the journey to Culloden. You'll see us there again
as soon as we can make the excuse to return. 5 out of 5?

Culloden House and its staff will forever be remembered
as the highlight of our trip abroad. After the rush of London
and Paris, it was a haven we loathed to leave. The food
was outstanding, the staff accomodating and so helpful,
the sights amazing. We visited Culloden battlefield, Loch
Ness,Nairn. Every evening back at Culloden House was relaxing,
whether playing chess or sitting by the fireplace, truly
a home away from home. We miss you.

Just needed to let everyone there know how much my wife
(Kathy Sage) and I enjoyed our stay with you. Staying in
the manor House itself is a great experience but the Jasime
suite was delightful. Everyone was engaging and helpful
including (because these are the names I remember) but not
limited to Noel, Harvey, Mathew, Elizabeth. I want to also
thank Dorothy, although we didn't meet her, for great chocolate
desserts, breads as well as the other chefs for truly high
class dinners! There was no reason to eat anywhere else.

My husband and I along with 14 other friends stayed at
Culloden House in June 2000. Staying here was the highlight
of our trip....playing croquet on the manicured front lawn
until midnight...enjoying wonderful food and staying in
a romantic room. For those of you who are debating on where
to stay....you must stay at Culloden House. You won't regret
it. The minute you pull into the driveway you get the feeling
it is indeed a special place.

What a dump!! Nah seriously, I stayed here before &
it was extraordinary. You got up to the sound of Highland
Cows grunting in the fields & schoolkids going to school
